What is a SR22 Bond?

SR-22 bonds are a type of insurance that are typically required when a driver is deemed a high-risk. It is often referred to as a “Certificate of Financial Responsibility”, and it is a document filed with your state which shows proof that you have the minimum required car insurance coverage. It is usually required if you are convicted of a DUI or DWI, have not had enough insurance, or have had too many at-fault accidents or violations in a short time period.

Cloverleaf Insurance is the expert on the SR-22 bond, contact 1800-530-5822 for your insurance rate or click www.cloverleafins.com. Depending on your circumstances, you may need to contact your state’s department of motor vehicles to find out when you need to renew the SR-22 bond. Once the SR-22 bond is no longer required, you will need to ask your insurance company to remove it from your policy.
